FESTIVAL FORMAT
FESTIVAL FORMAT
As in previous years, teams will be divided into groups with each team playing every other team within its group once on a round robin basis on either Saturday or Sunday morning. The number of teams in each group will depend on the number of entries received and in this group phase, points awarded will be three points for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a loss.
From Sunday mid-morning, the format will be a knock out basis with the top teams from each group qualifying to compete for the BWCI Shield and the remaining teams qualifying to compete for the BWCI Plate. In both competitions, there will be quarter-finals, semi finals, and a final.
In the event of a drawn match, penalties will decide the winner.
