The Guernsey Football Association is pleased to announce that there are 23 teams taking part in the 2016 BWCI Mini Soccer Festival over the weekend of 23rd and 24th July. The teams include 6 Professional UK Academy teams plus a further 6 teams from outside of Guernsey, including for the first time, Guildford City FC.

With entries for the Festival now confirmed as being 23, the 2016 Festival will see a change in the Festival format.
The format for the 2016 edition of the Festival will therefore be to have two groups, with one having 12 teams and the second group having 11 teams. The top four from each group will then progress to the Quarter-Finals of the BWCI Shield. The remaining teams placed fifth to eighth in each group will then progress to the Plate quarter-finals.
