The 2016 Festival is the 15th staging of the event and the Guernsey Football Association is delighted to announce that BWCI have agreed to extend the sponsorship of what is the Channel islands leading Mini’s Festival for a further three years.

Martyn Banton, Chairman of the Festival Organising Committee commented that;

‘It is clear that the fantastic reputation of the BWCI Festival ensures that this event continues to not only be a highlight of the Guernsey sporting calendar but also attracts interest from outside of the Island, with the attendance of the Professional Academy teams highlighting the profile of the Festival.

We are delighted that BWCI have once again agreed to extend their sponsorship of the Festival for a further three years and at this time I would also like to place on record the GFA’s gratitude to BWCI for this continued generous sponsorship. In addition it is important to acknowledge the many other local businesses that support this event through the Festival’s sponsorship consortium.

The GFA recognises that this Festival is an important aspect of the football development of Guernsey’s young players and I am sure 2016 will be another fantastic Festival.’
