The Guernsey Football Association is pleased to announce that the dates for the 2017 BWCI Mini Soccer Festival will be the 22nd and 23rd July.

 The 2017 Festival is the 16th staging of the event and the Guernsey Football Association is delighted to once again be working with BWCI to deliver what is the Channel Islands leading Mini’s Festival. Martyn Banton, Chairman of the Festival Organising Committee commented that;

 ‘Following on from what was another fantastic Festival earlier this year, we are pleased to be able to confirm the dates for the 2017 Festival. It is clear that the fantastic reputation of the BWCI Festival continues to grow and the number of enquiries we have already received from previous, and possible new, teams for next year serves to illustrate this fact. This event continues to not only be a highlight of the Guernsey sporting calendar but also attracts interest from outside of the Island, with the attendance of the Professional Academy teams serving to highlight the profile of the Festival.

At this time I would again like to place on record the GFA’s gratitude to BWCI for the continued and generous sponsorship they provide to the Festival, without which the GFA could not deliver on such a scale. In addition it is important to acknowledge the many other local businesses that support this event through the Festival’s sponsorship consortium. The GFA recognises that this Festival is an important aspect of the football development of Guernsey’s young players and I am sure 2017 will be another fantastic Festival and one that many players are already eagerly looking forward to.’

Entry Forms for the 2017 Festival will be available from December.
